AQUARIUS SUN SIGN
As the Earth orbits around the sun we turn our pages on the calendar. Depending upon the exact longitude and latitude, the SUN SIGNS rotate as well, so that approximately the third week of each month we enter a new Astrological sign and constellation.
When reading the following, keep in mind that you are a lovely mix of MUNDANE and ESOTERIC.
AQUARIUS January 19 to February 19/20. AQUARIUS is an AIR SIGN. It’s depicted in mythology as the ‘Bearer of the winds of change.’ The planet Uranus guides Aquarius—and every New Age book store, too. URANUS (say it with me, “You’re On Us”) is the revolution, the outrageous behavior, the shocking, eclectic and spontaneous innovative theory. Perhaps it’s the number 9 John Lennon sang about?
AQUARIUS is gregarious, lively, ingenious, infamous, humanitarian, financially savvy, freedom fighter.
MUNDANE Aquarians are one of the most selfish of the signs. They’ll usually give if they have their own best interests secured first. Many don’t know how to be close or intimate with any one living thing, except maybe a pet…on occasion. They usually act out aggressively and childishly when they don’t get their way. Many are addicted to chemicals because they assume their “genius” will never be understood. What an excuse! They typically say, “I’m sorry,” and then repeat the same behavior. They control almost everything in their environment.
ESOTERIC Aquarians will stop anytime, anywhere to fix your flat tire…even in a blizzard. They have everyone’s best interests at heart. They invent all sorts of new ways to travel to new horizons. They have fascinating life experiences. They will explore territory no one else will; with the exception of maybe an Aries or a Sag. They have a unique understanding of the way the Universe works and know many truths. They love to entertain children, too. They’re usually eccentric and a blast to be around. They’re extremely artistic in radically unique ways. Many know how to utilize a money-making venture to feed the world but sometimes starve themselves in the process. I wonder if St. Francis of Assisi was an Aquarian?
AQUARIUS RISING SIGN
When Aquarius is on the rise, the energy of the planet Uranus guides the general theme of a person’s astrological chart. Uranus is a Greek word pronounced—OO-rah-no—which means,’Heavens’ or ‘Cosmos’.
They carry an aura of class. The Aquarius Rising sign vibrates metaphysical and scientific or eclectic energy. They like to figure ‘it’ out and pass along their findings to serve the needs of humanity (or their local community). But while they’re figuring it out, they behave in aloof ways or much like the professor in the ‘Back to the Future’ movies.
These Rising signs LOVE to invent all sorts of new ways to travel to new horizons. Whether they’re involved in problem solving ‘think tanks’ or whether they’re attempting to create a contraption to make your life easier, they’re working on it until all hours with intensity. They have a unique understanding of the way the Universe works and if you are stuck in traditional, negative thinking, this Rising sign will propose an forward thinking probability for you to ponder.
These Rising Signs have fascinating life experiences, as they choose unusual parents or partners in life to afford them their eccentricities. Sometimes this Rising sign child needs a lot of attention from the maternal parent to guide them toward intimacy and compassion and to feel praise for their odd observations.
Even though this Rising sign is the bringer of change through a specific, unusual artistic, political or athletic view or action…they loathe changes they cannot see for themselves. Their stubborn streak (that resists change) cannot be persuaded! Ironic, isn’t it? Reminding them that they’re not alone in this change helps them turn corners more easily.
They can make money as entertainers or artists, political leaders, inventors, spiritual or religious leaders, athletes, or use their quick wit to develop high-tech international businesses. Many know how to utilize a money-making venture to feed the world, help small animals, and give women an idea of unique style.
Mystery, electronic equipment, television/radio/film, ancient mysticism, and politics keeps this Rising sign active.
What would help Aquarius Rising sign is allowing a deeper connection to a cause. Once they feel needed and can see how their presence affects the world, they have a much easier time of finding intimacy.
Healthy modalities: It would soothe this Rising sign to be near water, play in the mud, swim, take up cross country running, jump on a huge trampoline, or give large dinner parties where they cook everything to keep their health and well being in tact.
Aquarian Rising Signs of note—Bill Moyers, Roy Rogers, Whoopi Goldberg, Pierre Renoir, Michael J. Fox, Jay Leno, Karl Marx, Ralph Nader, Charles Atlas, Sri Baba, Matt Damon, Yves Saint Laurent, Tammy Wynette, Martin Sheen, Wayne Gretzky, and of course, Eliah Edelson.
As my Aquarius Rising sign daughter said at the age of 9, “Mom. I’ve decided that I’m going to be a stand up comedienne or play the ukelele, and maybe be a Dragonologist then save all the animals from their cages and put them on my property when I grow up—especially the elephants because they’re kinder than people—and of course, become a mom like you.”
She’s now almost fifteen and has blue and violet hair and is a whiz at digital art media.
Yep. That’s about right.
AQUARIUS MOON SIGN
The Moon represents our ability to ALLOW ourselves to Receive, to handle Finances, and to Share who we are on a visceral level. This is important to know and do in order to harmonize our thoughts with our emotions so that we may HAVE and INTUIT our truest desires. The Moon sign is often associated with the unconscious connection we have to our mother, and the negative feelings of influence that limit emotional expression.
Aquarius Moon—transfers their emotional state into financial needs. Essentially, they make it about money: either they don’t feel worthy or they feel that there’s never enough of everything to go around. Aquarius Moon often denies that emotions at all are part of their psychological make up so their deeper emotions are embedded in the need for security. This eventually translates into the NEED to make money.
Aquarius Moon is dedicated to a larger family or cause and will spring into action for others, especially those less fortunate. The irony is that the early family life of the Aquarius Moon feels nothing like a loving family. There is dissension between the parents of the Aquarius Moon and in most cases, the father rules the house in angry, defiant, militaristic ways.
The Aquarius Moon feels detached from the Mother, seeing her as a victim and ineffectual or as an individual with whom there is no particular bond. These removed feelings toward the mother cause the Aquarius Moon person to seek a cause in which to create a family bond; the larger family of life and community. They often have many unusual jobs or careers until they find a way to serve humanity. Oddly, this stops them from actually acquiring funds in a consistent, reliable manner. And thus they feed their unconscious notion that there’s not enough of everything to go around.
Once the Aquarius Moon can get in touch with the feelings that have kept them alienated from their own family, they can integrate the need for ‘giving’ with their need for receiving to have massive abundance in their lives. The key element is ALLOWING themselves to receive. They are impatient and uncomfortable receiving merely because they’re motivated by giving.
As they allow themselves to embrace their own feelings, and deal with the negative ones by feeling then releasing them, they eventually have true intimacy with their partners and can make loads of cash for themselves and for worthy causes.
